Atahualpa was the last sovereign emperor of the Inca Empire, who seized power by defeating his brother Huáscar in a brutal civil war, demonstrating the lion's defining trait of dominating through raw charisma, confidence, and force of will. He commanded absolute loyalty from his armies and governed with regal pride and generosity toward those who submitted to him. Even in captivity under the Spanish conquistadors, he maintained kingly composure and authority, negotiating boldly and never relinquishing his imperial bearing until his execution in 1533.
