Aubrey Plaza has built her entire career on a singular, guarded persona — dry, detached, and defiantly unconventional — from her iconic April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation to her increasingly dark and surreal film choices. She guards her private life intensely and resists Hollywood's social norms, doing interviews entirely her own way with an unsettling, ironic cool. Like a wild-cat, she is comfort-loving but unpredictable, deeply creative and solitary in her artistic instincts, and utterly impossible to domesticate.
