Bear

A commanding, self-sufficient presence who erupts when pushed.

Craig T. Nelson built his career playing powerful, no-nonsense authority figures — most iconically Coach Hayden Fox in 'Coach' — projecting exactly the kind of gruff, protective, quietly dominant energy that defines the bear. He's known for strong political opinions, a history of outspoken self-reliance, and a tough-but-warm persona that commands respect without demanding it. Like the bear, he can be surprisingly nurturing beneath a formidable exterior, but cross him and you'll feel it.
