Dee Snider built his entire identity on being unabashedly loud, confrontational, and combative — most famously when he squared off against the PMRC in 1985 Senate hearings, commanding the room with defiant confidence and making senators look foolish. As the flamboyant frontman of Twisted Sister, he led a tight, scrappy community of misfits with the chest-puffed bravado of a rooster crowing at dawn, demanding to be heard and never backing down from a fight. He is opinionated, proud, and thrives in small-to-mid-scale tribal loyalty — exactly the rooster's domain.
