Lisa Left Eye Lopes was a deeply individual artist who operated entirely on her own terms — her notorious arson incident, her eccentric spiritual journey to Honduras, and her insistence on carving out a solo identity separate from TLC all speak to the wild-cat's aloof, untameable independence. She was intensely creative and private in her inner world, guarding her true self even while living dramatically in public. Like the wild-cat, she was comfort-loving and magnetic but could turn unpredictable and destructive when her personal boundaries were crossed.
