Paul Gleason is best remembered as Richard Vernon, the bombastic, self-important assistant principal in 'The Breakfast Club,' a role that perfectly embodied the rooster's loud, combative, and petty dominance over a small domain. His career was built on playing men who crowed the loudest in whatever room they occupied — proud, thin-skinned, and convinced of their own importance.
