A Grumpy Digger Meets a Flighty Dreamer

The badger wants a burrow, a plan, and peace and quiet — the bat wants to hang upside down at 2am pondering the cosmos. As friends, they can find a grudging mutual respect, provided the bat shows up on time and the badger occasionally loosens its iron grip on the agenda. Romantically, however, this pairing is essentially a nature documentary about two animals who share a habitat but absolutely should not share a bed. The badger will claw its way out, and the bat will simply vanish into the night — both secretly relieved.
