Cuddly Meets Grumpy: Proceed With Caution

The cottontail bounces through life on a cloud of nervous optimism, while the badger regards that cloud with deep, personal suspicion. As friends, they can occasionally find common ground — usually when the badger needs cheering up and the cottontail is too oblivious to notice the danger. Romantically, however, this pairing is a slow-motion collision between a creature who wants to snuggle and one who wants everyone to back up at least three feet. The bedroom might offer a brief truce, but the badger's idea of afterglow involves being left alone, which is basically the cottontail's worst nightmare.
