The badger digs in, the sable glides away — and somehow they're supposed to make this work. As friends, they can manage a grudging mutual respect, mostly because the badger is too stubborn to quit and the sable is too charming to be disliked. Romantically, though, the badger wants roots and the sable wants options, which is basically a recipe for a very expensive breakup. In bed, there's a flicker of something interesting, but even that can't fix the fundamental problem: one of them wants a home and the other wants an escape route.
