Night Creature Meets Prairie Thunderstorm

The bat flits through life on instinct and improvisation, while the bison has been plodding the same well-worn path since roughly the Pleistocene. As friends, they can occasionally find common ground — usually when the bison needs someone to think outside the herd and the bat needs someone to slow the hell down. Romantically, though, this pairing is less 'opposites attract' and more 'opposites confuse and exhaust each other.' The bat will never understand why the bison can't just wing it, and the bison will never forgive the bat for trying.
