The bat retreats into shadowy solitude and complex inner worlds, while the dolphin needs an audience, applause, and probably a beach party. These two don't so much clash as simply orbit in completely different universes — one nocturnal and brooding, the other sun-drenched and relentlessly social. As friends, they might manage an occasional awkward coffee, but romantically and physically, this pairing has all the chemistry of a library and a nightclub.
