The Bear wants a warm den, a stocked fridge, and someone to hibernate with — the Sable wants to be three cities away by Thursday. These two can forge a decent friendship when the Sable breezes through town, but romance is essentially the Bear waiting by the phone while the Sable 'finds themselves' somewhere fabulous. In bed, there's enough animal magnetism for a decent spark, but the Sable's attention span and the Bear's need for emotional depth make for a frustrating morning after. Basically: great travel buddy, terrible life partner.
