Solid Foundations, Shaky Everything Else

The Beaver wants to build something lasting and practical; the Elephant wants to remember every feeling they've ever had about it. These two share enough work ethic and loyalty to make a go of things, but the Beaver's no-nonsense efficiency will eventually clash with the Elephant's need to process, reminisce, and emotionally narrate every step of the journey. In bed, the Beaver is ready to get the job done while the Elephant is still setting the mood — which was apparently ruined by something that happened in 2011. A functional partnership is possible, but both will need to decide whether they're building a life together or just a very well-organized museum of grievances.
