The Loyal Dog Meets The Immovable Bison

The Dog trots over with a wagging tail and a heart full of devotion, only to find the Bison already planted firmly in the middle of the field with absolutely no plans to move. As friends, they can just about manage — the Dog's warmth occasionally thaws the Bison's stoic exterior, though the Bison will never admit it. Romantically, however, this pairing is a slow-motion collision: the Dog craves affection and reassurance while the Bison considers emotional vulnerability a character flaw. Between the sheets there's a flicker of something, but passion alone won't fix the fundamental problem of one partner treating 'I'm fine' as an intimate confession.
