The Eagle soars above the clouds plotting world domination, while the Dog is just thrilled someone came home. As friends, this actually works — the Dog's loyalty gives the Eagle a rare soft landing, and the Eagle pulls the Dog toward ambitions beyond 'find the ball.' Romantically, though, the Eagle's need for solitude and superiority will eventually make the Dog feel like a house pet rather than a partner — which, come to think of it, is exactly what they are. Between the sheets, the Eagle wants intensity and control while the Dog just wants everyone to feel good — a noble goal that somehow still manages to disappoint both of them.
