The Eagle soars above the clouds with grand visions and solo ambitions, while the Penguin waddles through life in cheerful community — it's a pairing of mutual respect and mutual bafflement. As friends, they actually work: the Eagle admires the Penguin's social grace, and the Penguin secretly loves having a powerful friend who clears the airspace. Romantically, though, the Eagle's need for independence crashes headlong into the Penguin's need for togetherness, leaving both parties squinting at each other like they ordered completely different meals.
