The Horse gallops toward the horizon with grand ambitions and thundering hooves, while the Mouse is perfectly content nibbling cheese in a cozy corner — and therein lies the problem. As friends, they can make it work if the Horse learns to occasionally slow down and the Mouse learns to occasionally leave the house. Romantically, it's a delicate balancing act between the Horse's need for drama and the Mouse's need for, well, none.
