One Digs Deep, One Circles Overhead

The Mole likes to burrow into quiet, cozy darkness and pretend the outside world doesn't exist — which is unfortunate, because the Vulture is very much part of the outside world and has absolutely no interest in going underground. Romantically, this pairing has all the chemistry of a nature documentary where one animal nervously watches the sky. They can manage a decent friendship if the Vulture learns to stop swooping in uninvited and the Mole occasionally surfaces for air, but between the sheets, their wildly different appetites for intensity make for an awkward dance. Think of it as two ships passing in the night — one underground, one picking at whatever the other left behind.
