The otter bounds in with boundless enthusiasm and a party invitation, while the porcupine stands in the corner wondering why everyone's so loud. It's not that these two can't work — it's that the otter will need to learn that 'no, I'd rather stay home' is a complete sentence, and the porcupine will need to occasionally pretend socializing isn't a form of torture.
