The penguin waddles through life with cheerful communal loyalty, while the snake slides through it with calculating, solitary grace — and somehow these two end up in the same room wondering how they got there. The snake finds the penguin's need for social warmth mildly exhausting, and the penguin finds the snake's emotional temperature roughly equivalent to its natural habitat. There's a functional respect here, maybe even genuine fascination, but don't expect fireworks — expect a very well-organized dinner party where nobody quite relaxes. They can make it work, but they'll both occasionally wonder if they should have swiped left.
