The sea lion wants applause, belly rubs, and a crowd to entertain — the vulture wants to wait patiently until something dies. These two occupy such different emotional zip codes that even a casual friendship requires a translator and a stiff drink. The sea lion's need for warmth and play will feel exhausting to the vulture, who finds sentimentality about as appealing as spoiled meat (which, to be fair, they actually love). Romantic sparks?
