Relentless, fearless fighter who never backed down from anyone.

Malcolm X embodied the badger's fierce tenacity and refusal to yield — he confronted white supremacy, the FBI, and even his own former movement without flinching. His relentless advocacy for Black self-determination, his willingness to challenge powerful enemies head-on, and his stubborn ideological evolution (from Nation of Islam to pan-African humanism) all reflect the badger's dogged, principle-driven combativeness. Like the badger, he was frequently underestimated, yet proved ferociously difficult to silence or intimidate.
